Wow I have been bad at posting

I have been doing ok on my eats. I had a planed free meal and then I had a few unplanned, but I am not going to let it get me down. I am bigger then the food I eat. I will smash this fat and I will live healthy. I treated myself well this week. I got a new hair cut and color and I got my eyebrows shaped for the first time. I was cool. I feel great. Now just to get back to eating clean 90% of the time.

This is what is on my mind today

I have lost 25lbs since Aug and have kept it off , which is great but I still feel like I have accomplished nothing. I know that is not true, but the feeling is still there. I think what brought it to a head was today when hubby got home from the Y, yes he has gone twice this week, and he has lost 3lbs. Why do guys lose weight so easy and us women have to work out asses off to lose 1lb. Ok I know it is not a contest but I feel like I really need to kick it up a notch, but at the same time I do not to become obsessed cause I know when I do I will fail. I know once I start going to the gym I will lose the fat more easily, but it seems so hard to just go. I know it is not really. I think I am having just a mental block about it at the moment. Ok so that is enough whining about my weight and working out.

I am also so wanting to change my looks. I want to do something new with my hair and make-up but am a wimp about change. I have started to wear clothes that fit me better, no more tent size shirts for me but I still want to do more. I do not think I am ready for more just yet though.

Well off to do laundry.

I have been doing great.

I know I did not post my eats for the last two days but I have been doing good. Yesterday I did not eat alot, I was feeling really bloated and what not on Sunday and come Monday I started TOM, guess that explains the bloat. I am so excited cause hubby is with me on eating healthier. He is even starting to workout, which is something I need to start aswell. One of the guys at his work is going to be his workout partner. They will go after work on M-w-f which is awesome.

Today is one of my days off so I did not eat as often or as much, but I feel great. I am siting her drinking my fresh squeased lemon and hot water and planing dinner for tomorrow. Tonight the kids and I had fish packets. Orange roughy and mixed veggies in a foil pack and cooked on the grill with a small sweet potato, it was good. Today we bought a bag of grapefruit. Found out my son loves them, LOL he has had two today.

Well I think that is about it for today.

1.3.09

WOW we made the best turkey meatballs and fresh sauce tonight. I will be making them again. they came out of the newest M+F Hers I did eat all my food today and felt really good all day. Here is what I had. Boring but not bad.

M1: .5 c dry oats with honey, vanilla and splash of milk. 1 sm banana and 5 egg whites. 1 yolk

M2: 2 tablespoons bean dip and fresh veggies

M3: salad with tomato, cuks. sliced chicken and 1 tablespoon Italian dressing

M4: 1.5 c cabbage and ham soup

M5: sm green apple and .25 c mixed nuts

M6: 3 homemade turkey meatball with .25c homemade sauce and .25c spaghetti. .25 c peas

Well I really do not have much to say today. I was very tired, I have given up caffeine so I am sure that is why. It will get better with the clean eats and workouts.

1-2-09

Today went well food wise. I managed to get all my eats in,even while being busy at work. I turned down chocolate today, I really did not want it. I love when it works like that. I know there will be days that I want lots of chocolate , so I will be happy with not wanting it now.

M1: .5 cup dry oats, 5 egg whites and 1 egg yolk

M2: 2 tablespoons white bean dip with raw veggies

M3: 1.5 cups cabbage and ham soup

M4: 2 tablespoons peanut butter with celery

M5: 1.5 cups cabbage and ham soup

M6: small handful mixed nuts, macadamina, pecans and cashews with sliced cuks

Ok it has been a long day I must head to bed.

Todays recap. 1-1-09

Eats for 1-1-09


Meal 1(11a) 1 sm banana, .25 c mixed nuts, cashews, pecans and pistachios
Felt fine after this meal
Meal 2 (2:14p) large salad with cuks, tomato, green olives, artichoke harts, carrot, iceberg lettuce, spring mix lettuce, Cajun spiced fish filet, fresh squeezed lemon over top.
Was just satisfied after this meal.
Meal 3 (4p) fresh veggies with 2 tablespoons of fresh bean dip
Was ok after this meal, could have ate more. Not sure that I was really still hungry or just wanted to munch.
Meal 4 (5:3p) 2 cups of cabbage and ham soup
I was full after this meal- but not overly stuffed.

Meal 5 (7:3p) 1.5 cups cabbage and ham soup
Feel good after this meal


Today I did not feel hungry but I wanted to just eat. I know a lot has to do with where I am in my cycle and a lot also with the fact that my mind is going to fight me on eating clean. I have my cooler packed for work tomorrow. I am ready to go. I am off to fold laundry then to bed, I work 12 hrs tomorrow.

The start of the New Year.

Well today is Jan 1 of 2009, can you believe 2009 already. I have decided that this is the year that I start eating better for my health. I want to be a BuffMother. I will use this blog to write my thoughts and feelings out. I will also write out my eats and workouts, yes I am going to start working out.

Well I think that is it for now. I am sure I will be back later to update my day.
